In-Weekend

"IN-Weekend"- bedeutet in diesem Fall nicht, dass das Wochenenden besonders cool, sylisch, also "in" war. Es wurde auch kein neuer Trend gesetzt, sondern es bedeutet einfach, dass die Jahrgänge 9 & 10 über das Wochenende im Internat bleiben müssen und nicht nach Hause dürfen. Für uns hieß das, das erste Wochenende arbeiten. Freitag abends ging es los und wir sind mit zu einer Jungsschule in Palmerston North gefahren. Dort fand das "social" statt, was einfach ein Treffen von Jungs und Mädchen ist. Für die Mädchen hieß das erst mal Kleid anziehen und schick machen, da das Ganze eine Disko war. Dann ging es im Bus zu der Jungsschule. Im Bus hat man sich allerdings wir auf einem Teenie-Konzert von Justin Bieber oder One Direction gefühlt bei dem alle Mädchen kreischend und singend auf sich aufmerksam machen wollen. Bis dann auch noch ein Gesangsbattel gemacht wurde. Fassen wir es kurz: Ich war froh als ich aus dem Bus wieder aussteigen konnte. In der Jungsschule wurden wir dann von den Jungs mit einem Hacka begrüßt, was ziemlich cool war. Dann fing auch schon die Disko an, wobei alle dann erst noch ein bisschen scheu waren, vor allem als er hieß "sucht euch einen Partner", sind die ein oder anderen geflüchtet. Nach einer Weile hatten aber alle Spaß und das Highlight des Abends (zumindest für mich) kam. Das Essen! Es gab Pizza, Cola und Brownies. Nach viel Pizzastücken, einem Brownie und einem Brownie "to go" ging es dann wieder zurück in unsere Schule. Dort angekommen hab ich noch im Internat geholfen und dort auch übernachtet. Damit war ich für das Wochenende fertig mit arbeiten.

Am Samstag haben ich und Alina dann unsere Freizeit genutzt, um Reiten zu gehen. Dieses mal bin ich Maverick geritten, den ich jetzt auch vorerst immer reiten darf (er wird gerade sonst von niemandem anderen geritten). Das hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht und das Wetter hat auch mitgespielt. Das Reiten und vor allem die Vorbereitung auf das Reiten hat ziemlich lange gedauert, weil wir die Pferde erst von der Koppel holen mussten und um auf die Koppel zu kommen mussten wir erst über ein paar andere laufen (auf denen ich teilweise im Schlamm stecken geblieben bin). Somit haben Alina und ich mehrere Stunden im Stall verbracht. Den Rest des Wochenendes haben wir ein bisschen entspannt, den Haushalt gemacht und den Urlaub und das nächste Wochenende geplant (wir haben 5 Tage frei).

"In-Weekend" - that doesn't means that the weekend was very cool or stylish, also "in" was. In addition there wasn't a new trend setted. It only means that year 9 & 10 has to stay in the school at the weekend and isn't allwoed to go home. For us it means that we had to work the first time at the weekend. Our work started on friday evening and we went with the girls to a boys school in Palmerston North. There the meeting called "social" of boys and girls took place. First all the girls dressed up nicely because it was a disco. Then we went to the boys school with the bus. But in the bus one had the feeling to be at a teeny concert of Justin Bieber or One Direction where all the girls want to get attention with screaming and singing. And then a sing battle was started. To sum up: I was happy when I could leave the bus. In the boys school we were welcomed with a Hacka. This looked cool. Then the disco started and everybody was a little bit shy at the beginning especially when they should find a partner some girls escaped. But after a while everybody had fun and the highlight of the evening (for me) came. The food! They had Pizza, Coke and Brownies. After four pices of Pizza, one Brownie and one "Brownie to go" we went back to our school. When we arrived there I helped in the boarding and slept there. With it I was finish with working for the weekend.

On saturday Alina and I used our free time to go riding. This time I rode Maverick. Now I am allowed to ride him everytime (nobody else is riding him at the moment). That was quite fun and the weather was good this time. To go riding and the preperation took long because we had to get the horses from the paddock first and to get to the paddock we had to walk over some other  paddocks (some of them were very muddy). So Alina and I were some hours in the stable. The rest of the weekend we relaxed a little bit, did the cleaning and planed our vacations and the next weekend (we have 5 days off).
